Caribbean Fitness Retreat

Salt Escapes specialise in fitness retreats with an added dollop of adventure and they’re joining us at sea to bring you a unique sailing and fitness experience across the British Virgin Islands. It’s going to be a full on trip. Enjoy an activity-packed itinerary in the most stunning settings with HIIT classes on the beach, sunset yoga sessions and epic island hikes galore. Turn up the heat, then reset and recharge with the glorious guidance of Salt Escapes.

Day 1

Scrub Island Marina

Welcome to the BVIs, your fitness paradise for the week! We start as we mean to go on – leaving the world behind and embracing our new community and culture with a Caribbean evening yoga session.

Day 2

Anegada

As the only coral island in the Virgin Islands’ volcanic chain, Anegada is a place like no other – almost a tropical mirage. And after a morning beach workout session, your options are endless because this island is awash with activities like windsurfing and renting scooters – you might catch a few (million) flamingos while you’re at it! After a sunset yoga session, you’ll feast to your heart’s content on fresh lobster at Potters by The Sea, before grabbing a drink and winding down for the night.

Day 3

North sound

Once we’ve finished our morning sail, we’ll head for Little Necker island where you’ll take the ultimate HIIT class in paradise. But we’re only getting started! We’ll snorkel the afternoon away or bask in the Caribbean sun before heading back on deck for a well deserved lunch. The sunsets in North Sound are a true beauty to behold, so join us for a yoga session as the sun sinks and your heart flutters!

Day 4

Jost Van Dyke

Rise and shine – it’s an early morning workout sesh! Jost Van Dyke is an island that heaves with activity. From volleyball games at Foxy’s Taboo to cross-island-mountain-biking. Of course we’ll unwind with an evening yoga session, but be sure to get some stargazing in before bed!

Day 5

Jost Van Dyke

After a delicious breakfast on your floating home, we head to explore the island further on foot with views that make every step worth it! Explore the afternoon away or bring a bottle of rose to share on the beach in the afternoon. We end our day with a classic workout session, and head to the renowned Soggy Dollar Bar for a few evening drinks.

Day 6

Norman island via Sandy Cay

We dinghy into the spectacular Sandy Cay – a beautiful, uninhabited island where we’ll have our morning workout session. We sail south to Norman Island where you can check out the surf on the windward side of the island, before descending the trim trail for a sunset yoga session at Pirate’s Bite. We’ll also head to the island’s floating bar on a 30 meter schooner – known affectionately as Willy T.

Day 7

Virgin Gorda

You guessed it, a morning workout – but don’t worry, the end of this one has an extra special treat in store! Today is the day we sail to the Indians for some world class reef snorkeling, then onto Virgin Gorda – home to The Baths, which are a collection of sky-high boulders created by volcanic eruptions that formed magical grottoes we’ll swim right into. In the evening, share a sushi platter at Coco Maya with friends new and old – and make a toast to the next adventure!
